As a turnkey contractor, we create consistent construction management with competent construction managers working from the same mindset. Planning and control ensure that agreements are honoured and that the construction is delivered on time – in the right quality, on the agreed date and at the right price.
We are no better than our suppliers. That’s why we continuously work to improve interdisciplinary collaboration. This also applies internally between our design studio, engineers and project management. With appreciative leadership, we cross competencies and optimise the construction process. The collaboration can be completed in a partnering agreement where the client has a say in the choice of our suppliers.
With in-house design studio, architecture and building design are core competencies. We combine architectural expression with buildability and engineering to create solutions that are solid and durable. The demands for documentation have grown over the years, and we’ve kept up. Today, we handle all environmental certifications and all necessary permits and we provide all required documentation.

The idea that turned into a business adventure
The idea for KT Erhvervsbyg came about when Kurt Therkildsen retired in 2007 after 30 years in his own construction company. During the waiting period from 2007 to 2011, the idea of a construction company specialising in commercial construction matured. This was the start of the collaboration with the two partners Per Henriksen and Chresten Moos Petersen. A collaboration that was later expanded with Morten Popp.
The vision of being specialists in commercial construction with a good dose of human morality gave KT Erhvervsbyg a sharp profile without its own craftsmen.
Today, KT Erhvervsbyg A/S is one of Denmark’s largest specialised contractors within commercial construction.
