Leadership succession at KT Erhvervsbyg A/S: New CEO to build on positive progress
After 15 years as CEO, Per Henriksen is stepping down from the position at KT Erhvervsbyg A/S as part of a planned leadership succession. Per will remain closely involved, continuing in his role as Sales Director, which he has held alongside the CEO position.

During his 15 years as CEO, he has not only helped build a strong and successful business but has also played a defining role in shaping its culture. Through his commitment, dedication and straightforward, down-to-earth approach, he has made a lasting mark on the company’s development, culture and way of doing business,” says Chair of the Board Helle Sofie Kaspersen.
“It has been 15 exciting and rewarding years, and I am proud of what we have achieved together. The time has now come to hand over the reins, and I am pleased that we have found a natural successor who knows the company and the way we do business,” says outgoing CEO Per Henriksen.
The leadership succession is the result of a timely and carefully planned process. Morten Popp, who has been one of three partners at KT Erhvervsbyg A/S for the past nine years, will take over as CEO. His longstanding knowledge of the company, its customers, its organisation and its day-to-day operations makes him a natural successor who can maintain the company’s approach while leading its continued development.
“It has been important to the Board to plan ahead and ensure that the company continues to have strong, capable leadership. In Morten Popp, we have found a successor who, not least through his close collaboration with Per Henriksen, already knows the company inside out and shares our approach to running and developing it. This provides a solid basis for continuity and for the company to continue the positive progress it has made over the past 15 years,” says Helle Sofie Kaspersen.
